The new Hobie vertical rectangular hatch kit offers vertical opening orientation (as opposed to the regular rectangular hatch kit) and can be fit into the new Passport 12, Compass or 2015+ Outback models. Vertical opening opens between users legs for quick access. Twist handle locks the hatch closed with a good seal. Mesh storage pocket built in under hatch lid, alongside a handy bottle cap opener. Durable and rigid - strong enough to stand on. Compatible with rectangular bucket and tackle management racks (see above). Includes fitting hardware: stainless screws, backing plate, gasket and closed cell EVE hatch edge covers.
